We took trips to the park, went swimming and to Classic Skating. I can help keep the kids busy and it gives Aunt KK a change to take care of Samuel and to rest because he keeps her up all night.

Good Works Value Experience #1 Service to Others--Babysitting
When my Aunt KK had baby Samuel I was a big help to her by babysitting the younger kids.
We took trips to the park, went swimming and to Classic Skating. I can help keep the kids busy and it gives Aunt KK a change to take care of Samuel and to rest because he keeps her up all night.

Faith Value Experience #4 The Sacrament
I taught our Family Home Evening Lesson about how the Sacrament helps us renew our baptism covenants.
We promise to take upon us the name of His son, always remember Him, and keep His commandments. He promises us that we can always have His spirit to be with us, we can have membership in His church, we can be forgiven of our sins, and we can live with Heavenly Father again. I'm grateful that I was baptized and glad that I can renew my promises every time I take the sacrament.

Faith Value Experience #2--Helaman and the Two Thousand Stripling Warriors

Our Family Home Evening tonight was about the 2000 Stripling Warriors.
The people of Ammon had promised God that they would not fight. When the people of Nephi needed their help, the people of Ammon wanted to fight for freedom, but they didn't want to break their promise to God. The sons had not made this promise, so they fought instead. They asked Helaman to be their leader. They were good boys. They obeyed God and made good choices. They had faith because they had been taught by their mothers. The fought and helped the Nephites. None of the warriors were killed, but some of them were hurt. They were helped by God because they were faithful.
My mom, dad and family has taught me: To have faith in Jesus and love my family and friends and do what your supposed to do when it needs to be done.

Our family is super awesome about saying our family prayer in the morning and at night. But sometimes it is hard to say my personal prayers. My mom reminds me all the time but it is still hard. I have to make a habit, just like it is a habit for our family.
Faith: Value Experience #3 Tithing
I have a jar where I keep my tithing. It is easier to pay if you have a special place to keep your tithing and to pay it first. It takes faith to pay tithing because sometimes you want to spend it on things for yourself. If you do it first, then you are not ever tempted to spend it. I'm glad I can help paying for temples, churches, missionaries and youth activities.

Choice & Accountability #5 The Holy Ghost
READING
John 14:26
Galatians 5:22
Moroni 10:5
We began our Family Home Evening singing the hymn "Let the Holy Spirit Guide" (#143)
We talked about the Gift of the Holy Ghost. We read the scriptures and talked about the different jobs of the Holy Ghost. They are to testify of truth, guide and comfort. Then we drew out pieces of paper that listed problems on them. Then we had to decide how the Holy Ghost could help us with that problem.
"The Holy Ghost can help me in my daily life by:Helping others gain the Holy Ghost.Doing kindness things for others and studying the scriptures.
When the Spirit is with me, I feel:Happy inside and to others around me.
